Children's Ministries

At Yukon First, we’re intentional about making God real and relevant to every child. Our Children’s Ministry creatively reaches out to raise a generation of individuals who know and love Jesus. It’s our goal that we create the best environment for kids to learn about God
and grow in their faith.

FUMCY Kids are partnering with Kids First Preschool to furnish desserts and drinks for the Groundhogs Day Dinner on February 2. This is a joint fundraiser. Please sign up (link below) to either bring a 2-liter bottle of pop, a dessert, or to work a short 2-hour shift
selling the desserts. THANK YOU!

Children’s Church

Children Pre-K through 1st grade enjoy a video, Bible story, singing, and activities during worship services.  Children are released from worship after the children’s message and are picked up by parents after worship services conclude.  Children’s church is currently held in the parlor (behind the main sanctuary).

Sunday School

Sunday mornings the fun begins in the movie room with music and Bible story videos and continues for PK-5th grade in Sunday School classrooms.    All classrooms are upstairs; the stairs are right across from the Chapel.

Blast (Believe Learn And Seek Truth)

Wednesday evenings after our supper in the CLC, children in Pre-K – 5th grade have fun with Bible learning, activities and crafts.  The nursery is open for children through age 4 for play time in a safe and nurturing environment.

A Bible study for kids, Shield of Faith begins January 16, 6:30-7:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Bring your Bible - and your friends - to this time of fun and learning!

Our nursery is available on Sunday and Wednesdays for infants and children through age 4.
